Methodology for paper quilled designs
The basic assortment of different quilled shapes and patterns are made using paper strips and quilling tools as described in the Instruction booklet. For the many designs of paper quilled hair accessories as shown on the box cover, the instructions are provided
Fixing the quilled designs on to the small tic-tac clips and hairbands
In the kit, circular inserts are provided. Each insert has a pair of short parallel cuttings.
For the tic-tac clip, this piece is inserted in the clip through the centre portion. The insert is then folded upwards on both sides and then folded down again so as to cover the outer portions of the tic tac clip. Apply adhesive on the surface of the insert and paste the design on it to complete the quilled embellishment.
The same insert is also used for the hairband. Slide the insert into the hairband ring. Bring the insert close to the centre of the band and flatten. Apply glue on the surface, followed by the quilled design to complete the job.
