The canvas can hold against heavy paint coats without getting soaked through and is thus compatible with both acrylic and oil paints. You need not worry about fungus growth marring the board as it has been treated to be resistant to fungus. Rest assured as the board has been made acid-free to help preserve your painting for a long time.
