Nishant Jain was born in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. He did his MPhil from Delhi University and worked for two years at the Lok Sabha Secretariat.
Nishant Jain, Rank 13 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination-2014, is the topper of Hindi/Indian languages medium. He not only scored third highest marks in Mains Examination, but also obtained highest marks in the Essay Paper.
Born and brought up in an ordinary background in Meerut, U.P., Nishant qualified CSE in his second attempt. After graduation in History, Political Science & English and Post-graduation in Hindi Literature, he qualified NET-JRF Exam ofUGC. He used to participate actively in Debate, Poetry, Essay writing competitions in his college days. He was awarded M.Phil degree from University of Delhi.
