Instruction Manual
1. Apply any of the fluorescent colours (preferably a light shade) as a base coat using the brush provided in the kit. You can also mix the colours and get a new shade as your base.
2. Transform your pots into candles using the colours provided in the kit. Create your own beautifully designed pots using festive, traditional, geometric, floral, and abstract or any other designs.
3. Adding and mixing the standard colors can help obtain more colours that are darker in hue.
4. Intensify the color by applying a second layer of paint when the first layer has dried.
5. It is recommended that you start coloring with light colours and then go on to darker shades.
6. It is not necessary to have a base coat. You can paint your designs directly on the terracotta surface
You can use any other acrylic or metallic colours or even glitter to create your own far-out and funky pots

After all the pots are ready, you need to fill the pots with molten wax. For melting the paraffin wax, a domestic gas burner is ideal. A double saucepan made from steel or aluminium which is used for melting wax over boiling water. Alternately one saucepan within another can be used. Boil water in one and melt wax in the other. Ensure to always hold the handles firmly. It is advisable to do this with adult supervision only.
In the interim period, the top end of the wick can be tied to a pencil and the pencil can be rested on the rim of the pot. This is to ensure that the wick is in the center and does not get submerged in the wax. Now pour the molten wax in the pots. Once the wax sets, the knot can be removed from the pencil. Allow the candle wax to cool and harden and then the candle pots are ready.

HOW DO YOU MAKE THE CANDLES? The Art and Craft activity can be completed in 3 stages: You need to decide on the design which you would like to paint. All the terracotta pots are painted with the acrylic skin tint paint and allowed to dry. Select a design (geometric, floral, or any other)and lightly pencil it on the terracotta pots. Use the tempera paints to give colour to the terracotta containers. They are then filled with molten gel wax taking care not to submerge the candle wicks.
