An Introductory Course on Python for Engineers

Computers and software have become an indispensable tool in modern engineering problem solving and analysis. Python is fast becoming the leading programming language for numeric computation, data analysis and data visualization.

This text has been written for students in the engineering and technology fields as well as engineers who are starting out in their programming journey and want to learn how to write python code to enable the analysis and visualization of data for engineering specific applications. The emphasis of this text is on easy-to-understand examples, and provides an excellent starting point for further studies in this field.

This text starts with basic code entry and then progresses to using various modules for data retrieval and graphical analysis of data. Most of the examples covered in the text relate to the engineering field but are not limited to it.
